The Geopfert Company in Akron, Ohio will not redraw architectural prints when they are provided to them for layout and design. Rick Baker, a Commercial Installation Manager for the company, is responsible for producing working drawings of equipment (ducts, motors etc.) for the installation teams. Most of the building drawings Rick receives are blueprints, which he would then need to trace over.

Now that Rick has purchased CADRaster LTX, he can use a scanned image of the blueprint to draw his equipment in place using Autocad LT! Furthermore, The Geopfert Co. has also purchased some symbol libraries, eliminating the need to re-create typical H.V.A.C. equipment, saving Rick time.

"This has significantly reduced our design and setup time, and made our Autocad LT system very productive," said Rick.

Other 3rd party software is available for your Autocad & Autocad LT cad systems, such as symbol libraries for HVAC, Electrical, Architectural, and building services. A 2-« D CAM software and parametric software to help create mechanical drawings is also available.
